My First Mittens (Online) / TBD

Tuesday, March 26, 7 to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, March 27, 7 to 8:30 p.m.; Wednesday, April 3, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

This workshop is ideal for those who do not yet know how to use double-pointed needles (DPNs) but who can knit and purl. You will increase your knitting skills exponentially in this workshop!

In class one, you will learn how to do a stretchy cast-on and how to start a project and knit it on double-pointed needles.

In class two, you will learn how to make increases without holes and how to put stitches on hold.

In class three, after you've knit most of your first mitten, you will learn how to pick up and knit stitches and make decreases.

Supplies needed vary but will include any weight of yarn and two sets of double-pointed needles. (We can help you with supplies in-store, or you can check out Tin Can Knits' World's Simplest Mittens pattern here for details.
